At williambesttools.com, we are committed to providing a satisfactory shopping experience. This policy outlines the steps you need to take if you want to return or exchange an item. Please read this policy carefully to understand the process and requirements.
1. Return Period
Return Policy: You may return items within 30 days of receiving your order. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and include all accessories and manuals.
2. Damaged or Defective Items
Immediate Inspection: Check your items immediately upon receipt to ensure there is no damage or defect.
Report Issues: If the item is damaged or defective, notify us within 30 days of receipt.
Return Costs: For damaged or defective items, return shipping costs will be covered by williambesttools.com. We will provide a return label at no charge.
3. Incorrect Items Shipped
Return: You may return items that were not ordered or do not match your order within 30 days of receipt. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.
Return Costs: If the return is due to our error, return shipping costs will be covered by williambesttools.com. If the return is not due to our error, the customer will be responsible for return shipping costs and a 5% restocking fee.
4. Non-Returnable Items
Electronic Components: Electronic components such as repair parts, tool switches, regulators, and modules can only be returned if shipped in error.
5. Restocking Fee
5% Fee Applies To: Items that appear used or damaged, personalized items, returns after 30 days, closeout items, special orders, reconditioned items, damaged packaging, and orders with incorrect voltage or phase.
6. Returns Due to Customer Remorse
Return Shipping Costs: If the return is due to customer remorse (e.g., change of mind, wrong size), return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.
Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of 5% of the item price will apply.
Original Shipping Costs: Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If the order qualified for our "Free Shipping" promotion, this promotion will be voided, and you will be charged for both outbound and return shipping.
7. Incomplete Returns
Credit Balance Reduction: If an order is returned incomplete, we reserve the right to deduct the cost of missing items from your credit balance.
8. Incorrect Shipping Information
Additional Costs: If a package is returned due to an incorrect shipping address provided by the customer, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping costs, return shipping costs, and redelivery costs. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If the item qualified for our "Free Shipping" promotion, this promotion will be voided, and you will be charged for all actual shipping costs.
9. Return Procedure
Authorization: To return an item, email our customer service at info@williambesttools.com to obtain a Return Authorization number (RA#). Write this number on the outside of the return package.
Packaging: Return items in undamaged condition and in their original packaging. Ensure all original packing materials, manuals, and accessories are included to avoid additional fees.
10. Order Cancellation
Unshipped Orders: Orders that have not been shipped can be canceled by emailing our customer service at info@williambesttools.com
Shipped Orders: Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled. To cancel a shipped order, you will incur cancellation fees, restocking fees, return shipping charges, and original shipping charges are non-refundable.
11. Drop Ship Orders
Cancellation Policy: Drop ship orders (e.g., large machinery orders or expedited orders) cannot be canceled once shipped. Significant cancellation fees, restocking fees, and return shipping charges will apply. Original shipping charges will not be refunded. Contact us for details on applicable fees.
12. Special Orders
Additional Fees: Special orders from some manufacturers may incur additional stocking fees. Some specialty manufacturers do not accept returns; however, such tools will be reworked and returned to you.
13. Refunds
Processing Time: Please allow up to 7 business days for your return to be processed. You will receive an email confirmation of your refund once the returned item has been received and processed.
Shipping Costs: Shipping costs will be refunded if the return is due to our error. We are not responsible for manufacturer changes in products or specifications.
